2D ME IN 3D ME

This is an information design and photo visualization project that explores distortion through digital mapping. Using Blender, I created a 3D model of my face and wrapped a 2D photograph of it over the surface using UV mapping. The result is a digitally manipulated image where the face becomes stretched and warped across the form, revealing the tension between flat images and three-dimensional structures. The project could expand into a physical piece by wrapping a printed 2D image of my face around a sculpted model using paper or fabric.
