The Ghezawi Timeline is an information design installation that traces my family’s migration and lineage in Jordan. The form of the installation follows the physical route my family moved across the region, turning geography into a visual path. Illustrated plants and flowers appear along the route to represent the local agriculture of each area, placed according to where they naturally grow. All information was gathered through extensive research from historical sources and records. The installation also includes a segment of my family tree beginning with my great-grandfather. The pixelated illustration and typographic style reference traditional Jordanian cross-stitch embroidery, visually connecting the design to
regional craft and heritage.
